We like to think of ourselves as lighting experts, possibly even lighting geeks. We understand lights, how they work and how they will look. We’ve offered lights on line for 14 years now and have a bricks and mortar showroom in Plymouth for 8 years.


We have helped with lighting design and advice on every sort of project you could imagine and not only limited to the UK. Whether it’s French Chateau’s, Ski lodges in Morzine or a German office block we can help. We’ve also shipped thousands of light bulbs to Reunion in the Indian Ocean and designed the lighting for a hotel in Bermuda.  View our Lighting Projects.

We Install Lights – 15 years Lighting Install Experience!


In 2017  – we also started an installation service in the Plymouth area so we can help with both lighting and electrical installations in the Devon and Cornwall area.Our new website offers 23 000 products and is here to help save you money on your lighting.

Helping many thousands of customers to improve their lighting and reduce running costs…We can help as little or as much as you’d like us to. We can help you design and specify your lighting, we can often help with installation for a project if you’re self-building or refurbishing a property. For builders, developers and architects we can provide tech specs and lighting calculations using Relux for example and detailed design / product guidance. In terms of the projects we have assisted with, over 12 years, as you can imagine we’ve seen a huge range, I won’t say we’ve seen them all as I hope not. By means of a few examples we have assisted with – castles, retail, high-end homes, domestic refurbs, offices (including Germany and Dubai), hotels (including Bermuda and Mauritius), churches (including backlighting of crucifixes, a personal favourite) and a variety of external and landscaping assignments.

We have emerged as specialists in a few specific areas of lighting, under cabinet and LED kitchen lighting for domestic clients, lighting designers for self-builders and domestic refurb clients and architects, village hall lighting projects and increasingly as an LED wholesaler to trade clients.

Our Philosophy  

Our aim is to provide the solutions to all your lighting needs however big or small with over 23,000 lighting products to choose from. We offer a wide selection of halogen and Low-Energy Light bulbs, lamps and light fittings, but have increasingly seen a shift towards LED light bulbs and LED light fittings over the last decade. We also offer a complete range of Elstead Lighting, Searchlight Lighting and Globo Lighting products at trade prices that cover most commercial lighting and many domestic applications. In excess of 50% of our range of lighting products are now LED.
